Al-Amuli was a comprehensive scholar who wrote on many subjects including, but not limited to, exegesis of the Holy Qur\'an, commentary on philosophical and mystical texts, interpretation of hadith, as well as guides for the wayfarers and seekers of God. Ayatullah Kamal al-Haydari also emphasizes on the fact that the difference of opinion between two individuals or sects should not create hostility between each other. Rather, one must accept the other for who he is and only engage in academic discussions involving mutual respect and honor.
