Show More >>A political analyst says there are currently 178 Palestinians on administrative detention in Israeli jails and this is against international law and international norms to illegally detain people without charge. The comments came after at least 150 people were injured after Israeli troops clashed with Palestinian protesters outside Ofer prison in the occupied West Bank. The protest was held to show solidarity with Palestinian prisoners who are on hunger strike in Israeli jails with protesters calling for their immediate release. Three journalists are reported to be among the injured.
