The international ministerial conference on Nuclear Power in the 21st Century has come to an end in St Petersburg. Delegates including energy ministers and senior officials from around the world discussed the future of nuclear energy and measures required to ensure its safety and sustainability. Participants agreed that atomic energy contributes to environmental safety and helps reduce CO2 emissions.
