This segment focusses on his attitude towards Imam Ali (as) from Authentic Narrations only.
We find that there is an overwhelming number of Authentic Narrations about his hatred towards Imam Ali (as). His hatred led him to abuse Imam Ali (as) and order others to do so too, including ordering fellow companions.
Mu\\\'awiya\\\'s hatred for Imam Ali (as) has led to Ibn Katheer and Imam Dhahabi amongst others acknowledging that he is a Nasibi. His aiders were Nasibis and so were his companions Nawasibs.
Hating Imam Ali (as) is a sign of Hypocrisy as stated by the Beloved Prophet (saw). In fact, hating Imam Ali (as) is hating the Beloved Prophet (saw) himself and Allah (swt).
It is the same Mu\\\'awiya who fought Imam Ali (as) in the battle of Siffeen! The battle in which he caused the death of plenty Muslims including noble companions such as Ammar ibn Yasser.
Yet, despite his hatred for Imam Ali (as), his war on Imam Ali (as), his killing of Muslims and companions, his abandoning of Sunna, he is still praised by certain Muslims.
The same scholars who admit he is a Nasibi praise him.
