What is the metaphor and example that Allah uses in the holy Qur\\\'an when He is talking about Truth and falsehood? Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei provides us with a short interpretation of the following verse of the Holy Quran. Chapter 13 (al-Ra’d), Verse 17: “He sends water down from the sky, and valleys flow according to their measure, and the torrent carries a rising foam. And from that [ore] which they heat in the fire, in order to make adornments and utensils, is a foam like it. Thus does Allah present [a metaphor of] Truth and falsehood. As for the foam, it vanishes away as scum; but as for that which benefits humanity, it remains on the earth.
