Press TV sources say the insurgents were trying to infiltrate into Syrian territory from Lebanon. But the Syrian army chased them, killing a dozen and injuring many others. Syrian troops have on many occasions blocked such attempts by the foreign-backed insurgents over the past months. Syria has been rocked by deadly unrest since March 20-11.
