In Cairo, clashes have broken out between supporters and opponents of ousted Egyptian president Mohammed Morsi. The police have arrested about 50 people. Demonstrations were also held in a number of other Egyptian cities. Meanwhile, Morsi\'s trial has been adjourned until the 8th of January. The suspension was ordered shortly after the ousted president refused to acknowledge the legitimacy of the court.
